Ute Lauermann is foundation manager at the Guenter-Thiele-Foundation. Furthermore, she is a team assistant at the Academic Society for Management & Communication. Since 2020 she is responsible for accounting, office management and customer relation management. She is a trained scientific librarian. However, she has spent most of her professional career working in different fields of specialized bookshops and information brokers. Until 2018, she worked as a team leader for customer service at Schweitzer Fachinformationen Hamburg, where she was responsible for key accounts from the corporate sector.
