Prof. Dr. Werner Süss is Honorary Professor for Corporate Communications at the University of Leipzig since October 2010. Previously, he supported the Institute as adjunct lecturer since 2002

He studied law at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University in Munich, began his doctoral studies in 1991 and worked as a research assistant at the chair of legal history and civil law there.

Since 1992, Süss has worked in the energy industry, initially as head of the board office and, from 1998, additionally as head of public relations at Bayernwerk AG (VIAG Group) and head of corporate communications at E.ON Energie. From 2002 to 2012, he was Managing Director and later CEO of Vattenfall Europe Sales and Head of Business Unit Sales Vattenfall Central Europe.
